Vehicle Rental

You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a vehicle from langkawirental.com.my. You must have a valid driver’s license in your name to rent a vehicle. We reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

The rental period begins and ends on the dates and times specified in your reservation. You are responsible for returning the vehicle to us in the same condition as when you received it, except for ordinary wear and tear.

You are responsible for all damage to the vehicle, regardless of fault. You agree to pay for any damage to the vehicle, including the cost of repair and any related expenses, such as towing or storage fees.

You are responsible for any fines or penalties incurred during the rental period, such as parking or traffic violations. You agree to pay these fines or penalties, and any related fees, such as administrative fees or collection fees.

Insurance

All langkawirental.com.my rental vehicles come with third-party liability insurance as required by law. This insurance provides coverage for damage to other people’s property or injury to other people. You are responsible for all other damages or injuries.

Optional collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP) are available for an additional fee. These options limit your financial responsibility for damage or theft to the rental vehicle, subject to certain terms and conditions.

Payment

You agree to pay for the rental vehicle, any optional services, and any related fees or charges, at the time of rental. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer or cash.

If you fail to return the vehicle on the agreed date and time, you may be charged additional fees or penalties. If you do not pay these fees or penalties, we may report the unpaid balance to a credit reporting agency.

Cancellation and Modification

You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 72 hours before the rental period begins. If you fail to pick up the vehicle at the agreed time, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify your reservation at any time, for any reason, without notice. In the event of such cancellation or modification, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you as soon as possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the rental of our vehicles, including but not limited to lost profits or lost revenue.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be resolved by the courts of Malaysia.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and we will notify you of any material changes. We encourage you to review these terms and conditions periodically.
